CENTRE FOR COACHING, LONDON, UK
The Centre is an International coaching training centre and consultancy
established in 2001. A leading
provider of coaching and psychological coaching training for coaches,
managers, trainers, psychologists, health and HR professionals in the
United Kingdom. Its sister organisation, Centre for Stress Management,
was established in 1987. The Centres form part of the Centres of
Expertise group.
The Centre for Coaching is an Institute of
Leadership and Management Recognised Provider (ILM) and runs ILM
approved Development Programmes in the fields of coaching and management
development.
Our Middlesex University accredited training programmes run at the Centre
or in-house for
external organisations include Certificates and Diplomas in Coaching,
Psychological Coaching, Coaching Psychology, Stress Management & Performance Coaching, & Health Coaching. The Centre has
pioneered the development of Cognitive Behavioural, Rational & Multimodal Coaching. Our Course Directors have published books and articles
on coaching, coaching psychology and other topics.
The certificated coaching courses are recognised by the Association
for Coaching, a leading professional independent professional body. The
Centre for Coaching is a founding member of the Association. The courses
are also recogised for CPD purposes by the Society for Coaching
Psychology. The
certificate and diploma coaching courses are accredited by Middlesex
University. The Diplomas in Psychological Coaching and Coaching
Psychology are at a postgraduate level.
FACULTY OF COACHING PSYCHOLOGY
The Centre for Coaching has a Faculty of Coaching Psychology. Its
staff are Chartered Psychologists who teach and supervise on the
Centre's Middlesex University Accredited Diploma in Coaching Psychology
Programme. Staff include Professor Stephen Palmer, Dr Kristina
Gyllensten and Dr Siobhain O'Riordan. The Centre and Faculty are affiliated
to adSapiens,
The Swedish Centre for Work Based Learning.
