ABOUT THE CENTRE FOR COACHING & THE FACULTY OF COACHING PSYCHOLOGY 

The Centre for Coaching is an international training centre and consultancy which runs modular courses in life and personal coaching; psychological coaching; performance, executive, confidence and resilience coaching; coaching psychology; and stress management suitable for professionals wishing to gain more knowledge and skills practice in these subjects. Course dates, 2008.  The Centre runs a distance training programme for students unable to attend courses in London, England and Edinburgh, Scotland.

In addition the Centre provides a range of external consultancy, research and coaching services for individuals and organisations. 

The site provides information about our courses, services and publications. We have included articles on a range of issues such as coaching, imagery, stress management coaching, the legal aspects of stress; rational principles; stress counselling, health, and coronary heart disease. Individuals who are about to enter coaching or counselling at any institute are recommended to read the free Client Checklist before their first consultation. Click the 'contact us' icon if you want map details of our London location.

The Centre runs a free coaching internet forum for anybody interested in the field of coaching wishing to keep in contact with like-minded people. Just click the eGroup icon in the Forum section. The forum includes a real-time voice/email chat room, useful links and articles too. 

The Director of the Centre is Professor Stephen Palmer PhD and Peter Ruddell is the Training Director. Directors of Training include Gladeana McMahon, Michael Neenan and Kasia Szymanska. Kasia is also the Director of Distance Learning programmes. Consultant Directors are Nick Edgerton and Kate Thomas.

FACULTY OF COACHING PSYCHOLOGY 

The Centre for Coaching has a Faculty of Coaching Psychology launched in 2005. Its members are coaching psychologists who are currently attached to the Centre. Our Middlesex University accredited postgraduate Diploma in Coaching Psychology comes under the remit of the Faculty team. Faculty staff are all Founder Members of the British Psychological Society Special Group in Coaching Psychology. Members of the team undertake psychological coaching research.  

Co-chairs of the Faculty: Professor Stephen Palmer PhD; Dr Alison Whybrow.

Consultant include Dr Kristina Gyllensten, Nick Edgerton and Kasia Szymanska. The team provide academic supervision for all the diploma psychologically based programmes.
