INTRODUCTION

The Centre for Coaching, International Academy for Professional Development Ltd is a partner with The Institute for Work Based Learning at Middlesex University. The Centre for Coaching runs a range of Middlesex University Accredited courses and programmes at University Level 5, 6 and 7. Most modules i.e. primary or certificate courses, can be taken as individual modules or put towards a diploma programme. Within acceptable limits, students can study and attend courses at their own speed depending upon the time and the finances they have available.

EXTENDED PROGRAMMES

The Certificate in Coaching (level 5); Certificate in Stress Management & Performance Coaching (level 5), Certificate in Psychological Coaching (level 6); Certificate in Coaching Psychology (Level 7); Diploma in Coaching (level 6); Diploma in Psychological Coaching and the Diploma in Coaching Psychology (level 7) are all externally accredited by Middlesex University at undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels depending upon the particular programme. Most certificated courses involve pre-course reading/preparation and written assignments (e.g. seen exam paper or essays) undertaken at home. If in doubt, please refer to he course brochure or contact the Centre.

BESPOKE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES

The Centre for Coaching in association with the International Academy for Professional Development run two university accredited professional development programmes. These can provide CPD on any work based topic specialism such as coaching, supervision, business, management and accountancy .

• Certificate in Professional Development (Topic Specialism) (Level 6; 10 Credits)

• Certificate in Work Based Professional Development (Topic Specialism) (Level 6; 5 Credits)

These programmes can provide the student with a university accredited course for their CPD. Courses are subject to a suitable supervisor being sourced for the particular topic specialism. Contact the Centre or Academy for further details.

EXTERNAL PROGRAMMES
